10th and Final Day of “Stepping Beyond the Veil Fast”

Make Yourself known Oh Lord, that the nations may tremble at Your presence.

The fasting and prayer focus for today is Isaiah 64: 1-2. Oh, that You would rend the heavens…

In this ten days of prayer and fasting our focus has been on stepping through the veil of our flesh and soul, that which keeps us from stepping into greater intimacy and relationship with Jesus. Keeps us from being aware of where we are seated with Him in heavenly places, keeps us earth bound (conscious).  Keeps us from stepping into His dimensions. It’s the veil over the eyes of our heart, that hinders us from seeing in the spirit.

Jesus said the kingdom of heaven is within you, in Luke 17:21. The way, into the Kingdom is through the Spirit of The Lord within. We were created to be SPIRIT, soul, and body, but through sin were flipped inside out and became body, soul, and SPIRIT.  Where we are led around by our body and soul instead of our Spirit leading our soul and our soul leading our body.

Through the work of the cross, Jesus paid the price for us to be returned back into right relationship with the Father.  The problem is that our flesh and soul still thinks it in control. This is where Paul implores us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, die to it and all its cravings and desires.and to conform our minds/soul and to be transformed by the renewing of our soul. Renewing it after what? Renewing it to the culture and likeness of The Kingdom of Heaven, after Christ Jesus.

Our hearts cry of rend the heavens is part of our seeking and pursuing. A laying down of flesh and soul as that sacrifice for the fire to burn up. To separate the control of body and soul over our spirit man.  To rend means to separate into parts, to tear apart.  Jesus already tore through the veil of His flesh, Hebrew 10:20, we are to follow Him.  Our desire is to be clothed with our heavenly habitation, our spirit man, as our outward tent, habitation, that which we have been living from, is being burned up by the refiners fire. As mortality(this earthly and soulish mindset, our mortal soul and mind), is being swallowed up by life (the kingdom of Heaven within our spirit), so that we will not be found naked and unclothed: meaning not to be clothed by our spirit man. Read 2 Corinthians 5: 1-4

Revelations 3:17-20 because we say in our own mortality, we have all we need and have no need of God, we are blind and don’t know we are naked, unclothed. Walking around in our mortality, our flesh man. But The Spirit of the Lord counsels us to buy form Him Gold refined in the fire…step beyond the fleshly, soulish man and be transformed by the renewing of your soul…repent, change/renew your mind…then your nakedness will not be revealed, for your spirit will clothe and cover and led your soul and flesh…and the eyes of your heart being renewed will SEE what your spirit already sees and knows. You will be able to BEHOLD…who stands at the door…inviting us to His banqueting table…The Revealing of His Glory on us.

Make known your Name (that Place IN You) oh Lord, that the nations may tremble at Your presence.

I pray The Father has blessed you during this time of fasting and that you may Step Beyond the Veil…Into greater Glory.  God Bless

6th Day of “Stepping Beyond the Veil Fast”

The Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple.

Our prayer and fasting focus for today is Malachi 4:1-3.

For BEHOLD, the day is coming, burning like an oven. Malachi 4:1

There is coming a day that the church, the ekklesia, will burn with the Fire of God again, we see it rising up all over the earth already. The Glory of The Lord will fill the earth, its becoming a contagious fire, burning like an oven, like a refiners fire.  Our God is a consuming fire, and as on the Day of Pentecost, this fresh baptism of His Fire will bring with it holiness.

God is a Holy God, and when we are consumed by the Baptism of Fire, anything unholy can’t stand in that presence in us. Malachi 4:1 says that on that day anything wicked will be burned up. If there be anything unholy, wicked in our lives, our fleshly nature, soulish nature will be burned up. Purified as in a refiners fire. And those whom we come across to minister to, the fire of God will burn out the wickedness in them…we will see deliverance, healing, signs, wonders and miracles take place because the Fire of Righteousness, the Glory of The Lord, is risen upon you.  Malachi 4:2 & Isiah 60:1

The focus of this fast is to step beyond the veil of our fleshly, soulish nature, and to live from our spirit man. As we yield to the consuming fire of Holy Spirit and deny the flesh in all its wants and deeds, and lay them down as a living sacrifice and align our hearts and minds with the mind of Christ Jesus there is a transformation occurring, a conforming to the likeness and nature of Christ Jesus.  A paradigm shift of living from heaven to earth instead of living from earth trying to figure out how to get into the promises of heaven.

Malachi 4:2 …to you who “fear” My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise…

  • Fear: stand in AWE of, Bow, adore
    • Once again, those who SEEK His face, who are awestruck with The Lord, aligning themselves with the sound of heaven, crying Holy, Holy, Holy, their hearts never ceasing in pursuit.
  • Sun of Righteousness:
    • Fire of Holy Spirit, the consuming One, The Glory Light of Jesus,  will arise on you, suddenly come.
  • Arise: to Irradiate: to shed rays of light upon; to appear Colossians 3:4…when Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with/IN Him.;
    • The Glory of The Lord will arise upon you, with healing in His wings.
  • Healing: attend to, care for, make sound, whole
    • We come into the place of the full provision of Heaven, that place of being made whole and sound. Taken care of and attended to under His wings.
  • Wings: Covering, envelope, cloak, hiding place, protection and shelter, a place of refuge, secret place. WOW, need I say more : )
    • Justin Abraham says it this way,  “It’s becoming clear now. We stand fully identified in the New Creation. The old has gone. The new has arrived. It surrounds us and envelops us. Heaven is at hand. If we only take time to stop and breathe it in, we find God everywhere, hidden in plain sight. This is transformation. Transformation in the Presence. Not learned but infused. Not driven but drunk. Allowing through our powerful choices to “turn to the Lord”. Center on true Reality. Not distance but Mystic Union. I am in Him. He is in Me. We are One.”

Malachi 4: 2 continues to say, …and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves.

  • Go out/forth: means to make fertile, bring to life, bring about promised seed, grow
    • As we walk IN the spirit we will become more fertile and bring life and bring about the promises of God not only in our lives but to others.  Will cause others to grow as well as ourselves.
  • Grow: Spread, enlarge, lengthen, strengthen, expand, be grown fat…(with The Glory of The Lord)
    • There will be an enlarging and strengthening in The Glory, expansion will take place…a breaking forth…
      • Isaiah 54:2-3 Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings Do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes, for you shall expand to the right and to the left…
  • Stall-fed: to keep confined so as to fatten up; feed; nourish, take care of, tend to
    • In this place of captivation, we don’t have to strive, but rest in His ability, (The vine nourishing the branch. John 15).
      • To be captivated by Him is to be IN His dimensions…IN HIM. The Kingdom of Heaven is so opposite of the earthly realm. I looked up confine, it means unable to leave a place (who would want to) captive, boundary, or border, frontier…this is so good. Being IN Christ Jesus is a great frontier yet uncharted and unknown, we will spend eternity exploring the endless mysteries of Him. I find myself truly CAPTIVATED by Jesus more and more every day. And yearning to go beyond the boundaries of this earthly soulish understanding and Into His great frontier.

Fire of Burning come, let the wickedness of flesh that keeps us from stepping IN be like ash beneath our feet.

2nd Day of “Stepping Beyond the Veil Fast”

Our prayer and fasting focus is Matthew 3:11 today.  “He will baptize you with The Holy Spirit and Fire.”

As we read Matthew chapter 3 verses 11-12 the context of these verses are “Repentance.” Now don’t let me lose you, keep reading. : )

John the Baptist came as one crying int the wilderness saying, “prepare the way of The Lord, make His paths straight.” He told the Pharisees and Sadducees to bear “fruit” worthy of repentance. Jesus said in Matthew 7:16 & 20 “You will know them by their fruits…”

The purpose of a fast is to deny the flesh/soulish man.

John was crying out prepare the way by means of repentance.

The Greek word which we translate as repentance is metanoia.  It comes from two root words, Meta and Nois.

  • Meata: To change…in reference to metamorphosis – transfigure – transform
  • Nois:  Mind

Metanoia means to change your mind…change back to that original state before the fall of man…back to the way it was intended before the foundations of the world.

Our mind is the seat of our emotions…where we think and perceive from…that place where imagination begins and perception has no end. Ephesians 3:20

The fruits we are walking in are the result of our thought life…”as a man thinketh in his heart\mind so is he”…Proverbs 23:7

John told them in Matthew 3:9 “do not think to say to yourselvespart of their unfruitfulness (i.e flesh, soulish nature) they needed to change (repent) was their own hearts/minds from self-righteousness.

As I write this I hear Holy Spirit saying, “Search me, O God, and know my heart…see if there be any wicked way (unfruitfullness) in me…and lead me in the way of everlasting. Psalms 139:23-24 Everlasting life-Kingdom life-living in the kingdom.

I hear the cry of Repentance.

Change your mind, your heart…the way you perceive, the way you think…don’t be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…Romans 12:2

Baptism simply means to be immersed into; you go in one way and come out another…a total transformation.  Repentance brings us to that place of immersion…transformation.

Our thought life and the mind of our heart can keep us from stepping beyond the veil of our flesh. It’s time to change our minds (repent)…to come into that place of transfiguration in the mount of The Lord. Go in today and fellowship…behold and gaze upon the beauty of His Holiness…it will change your heart.

Father burn up the chaff in our hearts and minds with your unquenchable fire today!!!
