Our prayer and fasting focus for today is Acts 2:2-4

Acts 2:17 say …”it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh”… There is a fresh baptism of Fire coming and we are pressing in for it.

In meditation upon our prayer and fasting focus today what stands out to me is ONE ACCORD in verse 1 of Acts 2.

One Accord-Unity-Singleness of Heart, mind and thoughts.

As we come into this singleness of heart, the church, that is the Ecclesia, will “position” themselves in that ONE Place IN Christ Jesus.  Stepping out of double mindedness of being tossed to and fro, and being established in the mind of Christ, where our soulish, fleshly nature is no longer where we dwell.

As we position ourselves in this place of union and oneness IN Christ Jesus we are aligning ourselves with the “Sound of Heaven.’ (Acts 2:2 …there came a sound from Heaven…)

In Acts 1:14 it says they continued with one accord in prayer and supplication…that word prayer in strong’s  means Worship.

There is a continual worship going on in Heaven. Not only from saints gone on before us (the great cloud of witnesses) but from the angels…The Four Living Creatures before the Throne never stop crying “Holy, Holy, Holy” Revelations 4:8, and when the Living Creatures worship, The Elders fall down before Him Who sits on the Throne…crying out “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power.

There is a sound from Heaven we can become one with…align ourselves with…the sound of continual worship.

As we come into one accord with the sound from Heaven we are creating an atmosphere around us so that The Glory of The Lord can rush in…Acts 2:2 & 2 Chronicles 5:13

Spend time praying in the spirit today, it will strengthen our inner man so that we are more easily led by the Spirit of God, rather than our natural minds. While praying in the Spirit our inner man prays, and natural understanding or flesh is denied, 1 Corinthians 14:14. We are fasting or denying the flesh during this ten days.

We thank You Lord that we are being immersed in Your Glory as we are preparing the way for a fresh baptism of FIRE!  Sit upon us, O Lord, as you sat upon each one in the upper room in Acts 2:3.

Psalms 23:3 But You are Holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel. We create a throne for Him to sit upon with our praises.
